The Coat That Handles a British Week
The Men's Car Coat stops just above the knee with a straight body and a single-breasted front closing under a concealed placket. A notch collar sits flat and turns up at the neck when needed. The cut is easy through the chest rather than tailored close, so a jumper fits underneath without strain.
Built Around the Commute
Flap pockets sit at the hip and a further pocket is set inside the front. The shoulder is set and the sleeve plain, with a centre vent at the back for walking. The length is the point: long enough to cover a suit jacket, short enough not to catch on a car seat.
How to Wear It
Wear it over a roll neck and dark jeans with boots at the weekend, or over tailoring during the week. Turn the collar up and the coat sharpens immediately. Keep the scarf plain and tucked flat inside.
