One Long Line, Shoulder to Ankle
The Women's Column Coat runs to the ankle in a single uninterrupted line, with a notch lapel opening at the chest and a discreet single-breasted closure. There is no belt and no waist seam: the coat falls straight from the shoulder the whole way down. Worn open, it frames whatever is underneath in two vertical panels.
Restraint as the Whole Idea
Welt pockets sit at the hip, cut narrow so they disappear into the line. The sleeve is set and plain, and the back carries a long vent so the hem moves when walking. Every detail here is subtracted rather than added, which is why the length reads elegant instead of heavy.
How to Wear It
Wear it over wide trousers and flat boots so the column continues to the floor. Over a slim roll neck and straight jeans it sharpens instantly. Keep the shoes low and the bag small; height is not the point, line is.
