The Long Coat, Cut Close
The Women's Hooded Padded Coat runs to a longline finish, with quilted panelling shaping the body and sleeves. An oversized lined hood frames the face and sits high at the neck, while a drawcord waist draws the shape in where a padded coat would otherwise fall straight. The result keeps a defined line rather than a boxy one.
Built Around the Everyday
An offset zip runs the full length of the front and closes under a snap-fastened storm placket, so the front sits flat with no gap at the collar. Two slant pockets are set into the seam at hip height, and elasticated inner cuffs finish the sleeves. The hem falls past the hip, sitting easily over trousers or a longer skirt.
How to Wear It
Layer it over a roll neck and straight-leg trousers with ankle boots for the everyday version, or leave it open across a midi dress and knee-high boots. A crossbody bag worn beneath the coat keeps the front line uninterrupted. Push the hood back and it reads as a city coat; pull it up and it reads as a country one.
