A Knit Dress With a Waist
The Women's Knit Dress falls to mid-calf with a roll neck at the top and a self-tie belt that draws the waist in, which is what separates it from a straight column knit. A short row of buttons runs diagonally from the neck across one shoulder. The skirt falls straight below the belt.
Where the Belt Changes Everything
Tied, the dress reads tailored; untied, it hangs as a relaxed knit. The shoulder buttons are decorative rather than functional and sit as the only hardware on the piece. The knit is fine and even, so it drapes rather than holding a stiff shape.
How to Wear It
Wear it with knee-high boots and the belt tied at the front. Add a long coat left open and the vertical line continues. Keep jewellery minimal; the shoulder buttons already sit where a necklace would.
